Hopefully this will work better than the 2-way pager. Monday may have some possibilities.|W|P|111731969106400300|W|P||W|P|ChaseHelp@gmail.com5/28/2005 10:38:00 AM|W|P|Bob Hall|W|P|

Looks to be an interesting week. Stay tuned for frequent updates...

Well as you may have noticed, things did not pan out. We got some rain and a few MCS,s to come through, but very little severe. Looks to be a slow weekend.|W|P|111686269979312090|W|P||W|P|ChaseHelp@gmail.com5/21/2005 08:22:00 AM|W|P|Bob Hall|W|P|Interesting how the short term models greatly overplayed CAPE and Underforecast CINH. Cap will not break. Head to St. Joseph, MO to spend the night. We have data from T-Mobile, so avoid convergence and head a little farther into town. Mini convergence at the Holiday Inn in Beatrice, NE. Unrotected WIFI. Talented chaser and forecaster Steve Miller suggest Gage and Pawnee counties in Nebraska are best target. On to Beatrice. Waiting about 15 S of Lincoln to see what happens. Several Chase toure vans get fuel and head to Beatrice. 3 RADAR scans later they have hit the cap. Few early cell popped in Beatrice so we head that way. Hanging out in Lincoln for data. Several of the Models are starting to go Nuts. We will play a Lincoln to Beatrice Line. As we were refueling in Nebraska City Serveral of the DOW's roll up. and then the Tornado Intercept Vehicle rolled up. Time ot get out of here. On to Lincoln, NE. Huge MDA Motorcycle Poker Run. Hundreds of really nice Bikes out. Almost hope the cap does not bust just for their sake. 2 inch hail on bike would suck. 12:10 tank and tummy full just North of Topeka. Heading to Nebraska City at this time. May head to grand Island Passed through Yates Crossing at 10:07. Stayed in this very motel on 05-22-04 after Hallam, NE intercet. Currently on the way Topeka. Passing through Bartlesville at 8:25 AM. Gas prices in BVO is $1.85 for unleaded 87.|W|P|111668193140415740|W|P||W|P|ChaseHelp@gmail.com5/20/2005 09:05:00 PM|W|P|Bob Hall|W|P|I started liking the looks of this setup around 1:00PM this afternoon. I plan to hit the road about 8:00AM and head to Topeka, KS. Lately it seems like things have evolved more northward than the models have progged. This will allow me to shift northward into a Beatrice, NE (beautiful new public library with friendly librarians and high speed wireless) area if necessary. Initiation looks late, but an hour and twenty minutes of daylight left should be good enough. It was this same weekend that Steve Miller and I intercepted Hallam, NE last year. One thing we learned last year is that unless you are planning to gonzo drive back to Oklahoma, you will want to secure lodging reservations early. Every graduation in Kansas is apparently this weekend. There were literally no rooms anywhere to be had after dark. Unfortunately my chase partner won’t be able to get out until later because of a prior commitment. I am hoping I can give my Dad an early birthday present and bag one like we did June 12th last year. Of course this could be an enormous bustola if the cap monster is in bad mood. Current Target Belvue, KS Good Luck to all Bob Hall WX5SKY|W|P|111664125828004441|W|P||W|P|ChaseHelp@gmail.com5/17/2005 08:27:00 PM|W|P|Bob Hall|W|P|

No joy in mudville. Severe lack of moisture for mid may. Ridge appears to be setting. -Not good...

This is an experimental test blog. Live updates from the field will be logged via various wireless services that we have available.
